Nursery Information

We know that the journey of your child’s school life begins with us and we are determined to give all of our children the best possible start and allow them to realise their full potential.

We pride ourselves on our safe, secure and happy children who learn and play in a caring, fun environment.

We are a teacher-led team of experienced and dedicated Early Years professionals based fully within Captain Cook Primary School.

We have high expectations for all and run a seamless school readiness programme to prepare children for full time school. Our EYFS results are consistently above National scores.

We have a 39 place Nursery offering a choice of morning or afternoon places, Monday to Friday.   Full information including about us can be found below by downloading the ‘New Starters Booklet’.

If you would like to apply for a place at Captain Cook Primary School Nursery, please complete and forward a Nursery Application form to the school.  Applications forms can be downloaded from the links below or collected from the school office. We welcome visits, viewings and enquiries and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Please telephone Nursery direct on 01642 315267.

Wrap Around Care

We have a great relationship with our local network of child minders and childcare providers which we work in partnership with. Flexible childcare can provide as much or as little wrap around care for your child as you need.

If you are eligible for 30 hours funding, this can be split between two settings.

Registered childcare providers in our area can be found using the Middlesbrough Family Information Service:

Middlesbrough Council

More information about 30 hours funding can be found here:
